I am Iron Man
Hey guys! Toys R Us has new toys from Iron Man 2!
Pretty exciting, yes?
As you can see I went out and bought some of the new toys.
First up is the arc reactor which isn't showing up too well in this picture. It was difficult getting everything to light up at the same time since none of them have the option to just keep there lights lit up. The arc reactor stays on with a bit of round plastic that stays under the shirt and the arc reactor wedges on but not very well. It also glows yellow instead of blue like everything else so I wouldn't recommend it for Halloween this year if you're keen on having an accurate Tony Stark costume.
The helmet is pretty neat with the glowing eyes and as you can see the faceplate pops open like it does in the movie. The only reason I was able to get it on at all was because I didn't put it together all the way. I noticed this afterward and
then saw that it wouldn't fit on my head with my glasses on. There are three buttons on the side that activate different sounds. Some are standard explosions and the sounds of repulsor blasts while some are Jarvis telling you to watch out for enemies and those are pretty cool.
Finally there are the repulsors. Those are definitely my favorite. They didn't come together. I bought one then went out to buy the other. They come with gloves that resemble the Iron Man armor and then it comes with a gauntlet that straps around your wrist. It lights up and makes the repulsor noise when you raise your hand up. On the underside of the gauntlet are two small places to shoot out little orange missiles. However, these are made for kids so they may not fit you but I was able to get them on my arm and they're a lot of fun.
